| You are the sort of person that needs a peaceful environment. You seek release from stress and freedom from conflicts and disagreements, of which you seem to have had more than your fair share. But you are taking pains to control the situation by proceeding cautiously and you are right in doing so as you are a very sensitive person. You are full of stress at this time. It would seem that you are having more than your fair share of trials and tribulations and you are looking for a way out. You are not quite sure which way to go but the advice is - 'Stop trying so hard'. Circumstances are holding you back, forcing you to back off and to forgo all the pleasures, fun and games for the time being. But this is only a temporary situation and before you even know it the situation could change. Whatever has caused the situation, you just don't seem to be able to sustain or maintain relationships as you would wish to. What you really seek is to be able to develop a relationship with someone with whom you can truly share: Love, Serenity, Peace and Quiet. But you are a very demanding person and it is your nature that leads to disquiet and discord: you are like the tide, flotsam and jetsam... One minute you experience 'highs' and a few moments later 'lows'. This obviously will introduce discord into any relationship and with this demanding attitude - the ideal state you desire is unable to develop. Despite the urge to gratify your natural desires, you impose a considerable self-restraint on your instincts in the belief that this demonstrates your superiority and raises you above the common herd. You are extremely critical of everything that is presently going on around you and you find it difficult to listen to or to take advice from anyone. You enjoy the original, the ingenious and the subtle. You would like to be respected and valued for yourself and this can only be achieved from within a close and harmonious relationship.

| Monique: it's funny that of all places we'd travel to together for the first timeit'd be st. louis, missourisuch truth. perhaps the theme of 2009 will be irony? korea was fun times. i'm sure all my readers are my facebook friends and have seen how i've wasted time at work the last few days. i'm not jet lagged (thanks to "no jet lag"), but i am awfully tired and my digestion is crap. it hates america apparently. hello to 2009! looks like it's time for the annual DITCH IT in 08 LIST 1. soda i'm sorry korean cider; we must now part ways. i shall mourn many moons of our mutual loss.
2. hate there were a lot of people on my list, even those who shared my own blood. all forgiven. <i believe i believe i believe - oh i believe - there is love in heaven>
3. cussing i dunno who started my cycle of ghetto but every other word out of my mouth makes me sound like a rapper's gf or something. i like big butts but i don't need to use the "a" word.
4. paranoia different levels of it are ditched ever year but i'd like to pound in the last nail on this one. no one's watching, talking, or really even caring.
5. eating the eating out part anyway. as i get older, my digestion starts to lose patience. once a week and once a week only. don't tempt me!!ADOPT IT in 09 LIST 1. productivity life bores me. so i must find new ways to productively amuse myself. cultivating hobbies and renewing passions and learning new trades. bring it on biznatch! bring it ON. 2. fob i love fob. i love fob talk, fob food, fob fashion, fob everything. i want fob. 3. culture 2008 was a great year for musicals. this year i'll add some more theater to my mix. maybe even some art. ooh la la. 4. states i'd like to hit at least 3 more states off my "visit all 50 states before i turn 50" list. hello missouri, florida, and (hopefully) chicago!!
5. God there's a lot i wanna do this year. i don't think i can do it alone. ya heard?
